No regresso a um local de não muito boas recordações para a equipa dos Vikings (perdera no mesmo campo por 10-0 contra os Helios), a equipa portuguesa levou de vencida a outra equipa local, Lume. A vitória por claros 17-6, em 8 innings, transmitem um bom equilíbrio entre ataque e defesa conseguido pela equipa dos Vikings.
A equipa portuguesa adiantou-se no marcador logo na primeira inning, conseguindo chegar ao final da segunda a vencer por 4-0. Os Vikings nunca estiveram atrás no marcador, e, a partir do momento em que conseguiram essa vantagem confortável, foram capazes de, alicerçados numa boa prestação defensiva, controlar o jogo da equipa adversária, que, contudo, nunca deu mostras de conseguir desfeitear o jogo dos portugueses.
A juntar à boa exibição colectiva da defesa, é de destacar o trabalho de Jorge Castañeda, que, para além de conseguir 5 strikeouts nos 6 innings em que lançou, fez a vida negra aos congéneres espanhóis, acabando o jogo com o registo ofensivo notável de 1 triple, 2 doubles, 4 runs, 5 RBIs e um hit-by-pitch. Nota positiva também para Alfredo Carvalho, que conseguiu 3 hits, um deles um double, em 5 idas ao taco, apesar de se ter lesionado no início da segunda inning, tendo continuado em jogo com notórias dificuldades físicas.
Com esta vitória, os Vikings garantem o 5º lugar na competição, tendo ainda hipóteses de subir à 4ª posição, precisando para isso, contudo, de vencer o próximo jogo e último da Taça Fegabe, contra os Caimanes, em Ourense.

On the return to a not so memorable location to the Vikings’ team (who had lost on the same field 10-0 against Helios), the Portuguese team won, this time against the other local team, Lume. The clear 17-6 win, in 8 innings, transmits a nice balance between defense and offense, achieved by the Vikings.
The Portuguese team got ahead on the scoreboard right on the first inning, managing to get a 4-0 lead by the end of the second inning. The Vikings never trailed, and, at the moment that comfortable advantage was achieved, the team was able to, sustained on a good defensive performance, control the opponent’s game, which, however, never showed signs of being able to oppose the Portuguese.
Going along with the team's good defensive exhibition, it is important to detach Jorge Castañeda’s work, both on the mound, striking out 5 batters on 6 innings, and at the plate, finishing the game with a notable offensive record of 1 triple, 2 doubles, 4 runs, 5 RBIs and 1 hit-by-pitch. Alfredo Carvalho also deserves to be praised, as he collected 3 hits on 5 at-bats, despite playing with an ankle injury since the top of the second inning.
With this victory, the Vikings reach the 5th place in the competition, still with chances to move up a spot, needing for that matter, though, to win the next and final game of the Fegabe Cup, against Caimanes, in Ourense.
